France,
Provence,
Rosé wine with a classically pale colour, just a slight hint of pink and copper. Bright nose, good purity. At the same time, quite high intensity. It is displaying notes of ripe citrus, pink grapefruit, a slight hint of red berry fruit and pear. No indication of oak. Shows a good intensity on the palate. It is a rather light weight, but I like the flavour intensity there. That notion of fresh red berries, paired with some lemon zest. Good extract as well. There is a slight sense of minerality. Quite long and refreshing finish. Youthful and vibrant and it should preferably be drunk like this. I think this is a wine that has the potential to be actually aged and could develop some complexity over the short term. One to two years. So a fine result.
