Young, rich and intense nose, some new oak, spices and plenty of dark fruit, plums and blackcurrant, very full and smooth palate, pleasantly rounded with a creamy texture, layers of dark fruit, fine tannin and a very long finish, still somewhat youthful and massive, should develop complexity from further ageing, slightly alcoholic on the finish at present but nonetheless promising.
