Purple core and ruby towards the rim. Fine oak, some caramel and butterscotch with plum and red berries. Medium bodied palate, still on the youthful side with marked tannin, fresh red fruit flavours, red currant, a hint of oak and a medium to long finish. A wine still needing a few years to open.
