Dense purple core and hue. New oak and toast on the nose with cassis, ripe plum, pepper and liquorice. Dense palate, rather dense tannin starting to soften, crunchy dark fruit, mild oak notes with a fresh backbone and a long muscular finish. Still youthful, should drink well from 2022.
