Bright dark purple core and a garnet hue. Layered nose showing fine oak derived spiciness and butterscotch with layers of violet, lavender, cassis, black cherry and tobacco. The palate shows a dense structure and concentration, still youthful but modest extraction with grainy and refreshing tannins, rather sweet fruit flavours, yet remaining dry with good layers and complexity, savoury and long-lasting finish.
