France,
Burgundy,
Youthful and quite pale colour medium-deep straw with a slight hint of green. Fine nose here, I think this is displaying both certain minerality and earthiness with really fine oak. Very discreetly toasted with some hints of hazelnut. Then barely ripe stone fruit. That’s a nice palate. Quite broad in terms of structure and weight, but classically bone-dry. Gives a nice mouth-watering sensation, well-preserved acidity. Finely toasted notes. Then some hints of stone fruit such as peach and yellow plum but not overripe just barely ripe. Which adds a good lift to the palate. Finely nutty on the finish with really long and zesty finish. Really fine example.
