Château de Jau – Jaujau 1er – 2022

Youthful bright straw colour with a copper hue. Pure nose offering sweet plum, pear, aniseed, fennel and citrus notes. Good grip and weight on the palate, generous garrigue-infused fruit flavours with moderate acidity, yet a fine level of grapeskin/tannic presence giving lift, with modest oak notes and a long warm finish.
