Château de La Dauphine – 2014
Fronsac
France,
Bordeaux,
Dense dark core and ruby rim. Aromas of tobacco, bay leaf, some herbal notes, violet, sweet plum and red berries. The palate has medium weight, still a slight austere texture with youthful tannin and a high acidity, yet generous fruit, integrated oak with good warmth and a long finish. Still needing some time to open.
