Very dense colour; really attractive and intense nose with hints of violet, blackcurrant, dark plum and blackberry; the palate is rich, chewy and concentrated with pure, dark fruit, quite rigid texture with finely grained tannin, some new oak and long, warm aftertaste; slightly young today, but really promising.
