France,
Bordeaux,
A wine that appears really youthful here, with a black-purple centre. Attractive nose, very youthful as well, but quite delicious fruit there. With a lot of freshly crushed berries, some floral notes, no oak noticeable. Taste wise it is medium-bodied. It has medium weight, yet with a good backbone of tannin. Still youthful, but no harshness in there. I like the combination here, we have some darker fruitiness, with some peppery notes, clove, ginger. So fine spiciness and fine acidity. So quite juicy, attractive and drinkable, despite its youth. A wine not really destined for long ageing, but rather for offering pleasure in the coming two years.
