Medium to deep core with a purple hue. Youthful and fresh nose of red and black currant with aromatic herbs, tobacco and some new oak. Medium weight rather dense texture, young but ripe tannin, fresh dark fruit flavours, crushed plum, cassis and a rather long finish.
