France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Very deep core, some evolution on the rim, ruby towards tawny but with a very black centre. Sweet nose, with some evolution indicating dried fruit, very sweet fruit, sweet red berries, plum; also with some herbal spiciness like mint, sage. Palate is quite dense, warm and ripe, the fruit is almost towards the dried and sweet, with some hints of liqueur, kirsch, dried fruit, but still it keeps a good freshness, with integrated tannins. Good length, quite persistent, medium towards long, with quite unctuous fruits on the finish, those dried sweet berries, and some notes of mint. Pretty good drinkability right now, this is not a wine I would keep for very long, I think it is pleasurable to enjoy right now today.
