France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Rosé wine with a light towards medium intensity, a slight hint of onion skin. Fresh and floral notes, youthful; notes of quince and pear, some hints of flower as well, and a gentle touch of red berry fruit. Palate is generous, quite rounded, some red berry fruit going on there; it’s close to dry but with what feels like a slight hint of sugar, but kept down by a nice and fresh acidity. For a rosé, I would put this in the slightly richer in structure style, medium-bodied; we feel a hint of skin contact there, there’s a balanced bitterness resembling grapefruit skin. Medium-long finish. Still a young wine, to enjoy young.
