Château de L’Hoste Blanc – Cuvée Vieilles Vignes – 2016

Inky dark purple hue. Youthful nose of ripe dark fruit like cassis, plum, dried herbs and some wood influence. Rather dense palate, still on the extracted side with high tannin and acidity, nice fruit underneath with rather long finish, yet austere needing time to soften.
