Château de Mascarras – 2011

Very dense inky color. Intense and pure nose of dark berries, cassis, plum, black truffle and a hint of oak. The palate has a nice and rigid structure, ripe dark fruit backed up by rather massive but ripe tannin, good sense of freshness and a good length, nicely built with a fine potential and well integrated oak.
