Château de Myrat – 2002

Sauternes/Barsac
, 2nd Grand Cru Classé
MEDAILLE-TASTED-89-2024
France,
Bordeaux,
Mature colour and nose, dark golden with some autumn leaves, smoke and chestnut with dried fruit, good grip on the palate, more freshness than the nose suggests, sweet citrus, apricot and a layered spiciness, long and fresh finish with good grip and zest, fine drinkability today. Traditional style and character but I like it.
