Deep ruby red core, with a garnet rim. Generous nose combining sweet fruit, spices and roasted oak, the palate is rich and dense with a high level of tannin, and extract, fresh acidity, sweet ripe fruit but still a backward texture that needs another 3-4 years in the cellar
