Inky dark purple core and hue. Modern and intense nose offering toast new oak, coffee beans, pepper and ripe dark fruit. Ample palate, sweet and ripe fruit balanced by good level of freshness, grainy tannin and a long fleshy finish with some chalky notes. Well done and ambitious, a bit marked by oak today but should soften from further ageing.
