France,
Alsace,
Light golden colour, light towards medium golden colour, some intensity here. And speaking about intensity even more on the nose here. Let’s say very recognizable style in its lush, tropical fruit and intense spiciness. There are a lot of dried spices there, particularly cardamom, pepper, vanilla. Then we have some of those floral, rose petal notes and lush yellow fruit, like apricot, yellow plum, tons of honey. Good balance on the palate, I think this variety can be a bit overwhelming sometimes, but I think here we could have a good balance of that lush tropical fruit. Rather a mellow acidity, but we still get a good sensation of freshness on the finish, thanks to the dried spices giving a lift. I also think the alcohol is well in balanced. So really pleasurable wine offering a generous amount of fruit. Quite long persistence as well. Good drinkability today. A wine that will continue to develop easily depending on what style of wine you like, but drinks pretty well right now.
