Château de Sabazan – 2009

Opaque colour; rather ambitious nose with roasted oak with notes of dark plum, prune, Creme de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) and smoked meat; the palate is very dense and tight with finely built tannin, plenty of extract, but rather rounded and supple, good purity, dark fruit and a long finish; well made and potent.
