Inky dark purple core. The nose offers plum, red berries, some herbal notes, a slight hint of oak and tobacco. Medium weight on the palate, still a youthful tannic bite but no hard edges, generous fruit, crushed plum and cassis flavours with a slight herbaceous spiciness and rather long finish. still needing some time to soften.
