France,
Burgundy,
Light red colour, ruby core with a slightly tawny rim. Youthful and floral nose, showing off some notes of apricot, red berries, fine spices, very mild spices; a dash of nutmeg and vanilla. Palate is on the lighter side, in a refined Burgundian style I would say; still has flavour intensity, with nice and rounded juicy red fruit. Good acidity, rather mild tannins, no noticeable oak. Soft finish, with a medium length. A wine which is pretty accessible today, obviously it will develop during a 5-6 years period, but it drinks pretty well right now. Well-made in that light and delicate style.
