Château des Coccinelles – 2015

Bright light golden colour. Rather ambitious nose with ripe yellow fruit, saffron some floral notes like violet and some roasted nuts (a bit of oak it seems). The palate is lush and weighty with a creamy texture, good freshness with hints of ripe citrus and grape, some spicy notes of saffron and roasted nuts, good length and a certain complexity. Ambitious and well made.
