Medium to deep colour with a purple hue. The nose reveals fresh dark berries, liquorice, tobacco, fine oak and garrigue. Rather full palate with dense young fruit, grippy and chewy, yet with ripe tannin, a fresh acidity underneath, spicy blackberry and cherry with a light toastiness from the oak and a long warm finish.
