France,
Bordeaux,
Youthful colour here, quite blue-purple; high viscosity as well, quite ripe. The nose is pure, offering a lot of fresh berry fruit, plum, some vanilla. Good density on the palate here, good weight, and I think it’s already pretty much polished in terms of texture. We have a presence of tannin but they’re nice and rounded; fresh acidity, and a mix of red and dark berries. Quite pure and classic style, without any oak influence. Good freshness, good length; a well-balanced wine for that style. Still rather youthful though, it would benefit from some more aging; but I kind of like it.
