Rosé wine with a classically pale colour, just a hint of onion skin, copper. The nose is showing a hint of oak, there’s quite ripe fruit in there, ripe pear, quince, red berries and some floral notes. Very good grip on the palate, it’s a quite full-bodied style I would say, with a good deal of freshness, well-maintained acidity; and flavourwise it’s leading more towards the structure of a good white wine, almost like white Burgundy texture, a slight hint of oakiness, some notes of zest, red berry fruit. Good length as well, rather persistent; I would say quite ambitious style this one due to the length and the concentration, more than a rosé d’apéritif it’s a gastronomic that can cope with a lot more things than that. I find it very interesting and nicely made, in an ambitious style with a hint of oak as well.
