France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a medium towards deep colour, still youthful, but with a certain evolution on the rim. Quite fruit-driven on the nose, more primary fruit here; still youthful, displaying notes of freshly crushed berries. There’s a hint of roasted wood but not too much, rather again on the fruity side. The palate is showing medium weight, still very youthful with a pronounced acidity, youthful tannin, more with red fruity notes like sour red cherry, some notes of cranberry. Oak is well settled there, finish is medium towards long; but it’s still a wine which is appearing very youthful and certainly should need some more time to round off the edges and gain some more complexity.
