France,
Bordeaux,
Very youthful, deep and inky colour with a purple-blue hue. Very fresh nose, displaying floral notes, with mostly dark fruit, crushed berry fruit, cassis, plum, a mild spiciness. No indication of oak. Nice and juicy palate here. Medium weight, with quite powdery tannin. They already feel quite settled and integrated. I like the juiciness in this one. Really round with attractive dark berry flavours. Good level of acidity as well. Fresh with a mild spiciness. Very discreet oak. Medium toward long finish, with a gentle spiciness. Quite balanced already, but it is still youthful without complexity or that harmony that comes with age. Give it a few years and let’s see what happens.
