Medium to deep golden colour. Intense nose with a light smokiness, yellow fruit, vanilla, pepper and saffron. The palate feels rather slim compared to the nose, nice fresh backbone and lighter weight, yet with good harmony, delicious stone fruit, a good length and approaching complexity, a Sauternes for the beginning of a meal.
