Dark garnet core and hue. Pure nose, ripe with darker fruit character, violet, blackberry, meat and peppery (Syrah?) like notes. Dense palate where a "dry" spiciness and pepper gives a good contrast to ripe and sweet fruit flavours, still a gentle tannic presence but balanced with good spice, character and persistency.
