Château du Seuil en Provence – Rosé – 2014
Côteaux d'Aix en Provence

France,
Provence,
Rosé wine with a medium deep colour, there’s some hints of copper and a slightly richer pink nuance. Quite discreet nose, it’s pure, and it shows off some green apple, pear, some notes of something nutty like almond paste, and some grapefruit. Bone-dry palate, classically dry, with a medium towards high acidity, I would say the sensation of freshness due to the dryness of the wine is still there; the finish is quite salivating. In terms of character I pick up those green apple and pear flavours; there’s a slight hint of citrus bitterness, the citrus skin or grapefruit that also gives a sensation of freshness. In a quite light towards medium-bodied style, with good grip and freshness on the finish.
