Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Fresh nose of crushed berries, plum, some new oak and an herbal spiciness. Rather full palate, still a youthful texture with fresh acidity and present tannin but fairly rounded with nice ripe fruit, a mild spiciness and a long finish. Still a bit tight and youthful on the aftertaste, it has a lot more to give in the coming years.
