Château Eugénie – Cuvée Tsar Pierre Le Grand – 2016

Dark inky purple hue. Youthful nose with floral hints, some new oak, red fruit, leather and dry spices. Youthful and tight texture, rather full with sour cherry and red fruit flavours, soft oak and high acidity, fairly long but still youthful and restrained needing time to soften. Best after 2022.
