Deep garnet red colour. Fragrant nose offering ripe dark berries and cassis with some herbal sage and bay leaf notes and a mid hint of oak. The palate is rather dense with a youthful texture, still a slight tannic bite, some oak derived spiciness and woody notes, with discreet dark fruit and rather long slightly grippy finish. A wine still needing 1-2 years to soften.
