Château Filhot – 2009

Medium deep golden colour and viscous texture. The nose is lush with ripe apricot, saffron and pear. Good purity followed by a dense palate, high sweetness but nuanced with crushed apricot. Pepper, vanilla, candied citrus, discreet wood and approaching complexity and long opulent finish. It’s really nice.
