Dense dark ruby red core. Nuanced nose, some new oak, ripe dark fruit like plum, blackberry, tobacco and some light smoky notes. Dense palate with fine balance, rounded tannin, a fresh backbone with sweet dark fruit, tobacco, spice box and fine wood notes, nice texture and weight with a long smooth finish. Very nice drinkability and polish today.
