Château Franc La Rose – 2009

Inky deep ruby red, the nose is young and ripe, it displays dark berries, plum, some new oak, vanilla and roasted notes, nice pure fruit on the palate, quite full but without heaviness, well balanced acidity and smooth tannin, layers of fruit, dark cherry, plum, very creamy texture and a very good length, nice balance, already approachable but with a fine potential for aging.
