Château Franc Le Maine – 2009

Dark ruby/purple, youthful nose that exhibits new oak, vanilla, spice and a mix of dark and red berries, the palate is medium bodied with juicy fruit, cassis and red currant, some herbal notes and a good freshness, fairly long, a fine effort, feels a bit young and should deserve 3-4 more years before drinking it.
