Dense core, a purple hue and lighter rim. Ripe nose offering sweet fruit, dark plum, cherry and a hint of new oak. Rather full palate with a round mouth feel, still a tannic presence and some herbal spiciness, and a dense and rather long finish, still needing some time to soften but nice dark fruit and structure.
