Inky dark core turning from purple towards red at the core. Ripe dark fruit on the nose, black plum, cherry, cassis, some meaty notes and a mild oak derived spiciness. The palate shows good density and weight with a still youthful texture, yet tannins starting to soften, abundant dark fruit with integrated oak and a long muscular finish.
