France,
Provence,
Rosé wine, quite pale style, classically pale copper with some notes of copper, onion skin. Fresh nose here, quite on the fruity side, with hints of almost like freshly crushed berries, like crushed red currant, red cherry; some herbal notes there and sweet citrus like ripe grapefruit. Palate is classically dry, but the fruit is quite ripe so it almost gives an indication of sweetness. On the aftertaste it’s more back towards the dry here, with a combination of acid red fruit like red currants with some herbal notes, lime. Quite open and generous, in a classic rosé de Provence style I would say, with a good balance.
