France,
Bordeaux,
Quite intense core here ruby-purple with a slightly lighter rim. Intense nose showing some maturity. There are some gamey notes here, like leather, stable. Quite dark, sweet fruit like dark plum and dark cherry. Aromatically it is displaying a certain maturity. On the palate it is still quite youthful and tight. I would say it is rather an austere style here with a firm tannin. Nice dark fruit here with juicy plum, black cherry. A bit less of those animal spicy notes on the palate. Fairly long finish. However, a more robust style that requires a little bit more cellaring to settle the tannins.
