Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Pure and modern nose with fine oak, gently roasted notes, ripe dark fruit like plum, cassis and cherry with floral notes. Dense palate with high concentration, fleshy (but balanced) new oak adding a nice smoky/spicy touch with layers of ripe dark berries, cassis and tobacco, and a long, grippy and persistent finish. Ambitious performing well above the modest appellation!
