France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine, still with a fairly youthful appearance, dark ruby-purple core. Youthful nose, displaying some hints of wood like cedar wood, tobacco, a hint of leather, and rather red fruit. Palate has medium weight; quite classic texture here, with toned down oak, youthful tannin, high acidity. Gentle spiciness here like white pepper, with plum and red berry fruit. So: medium weight, still fairly youthful in terms of extract with pronounced tannin on the mid-palate, but pretty good length. Certainly a style that will develop with age, another 1-2-3-4 - whatever style of wine you like - years in the cellar, and it will evolve quite nicely.
