France,
Bordeaux,
Colour is fairly youthful there is still a purple hue there. Moderate intensity, ruby-red. The nose is pure, generous. Very youthful. Primarily with fruity hints of sweet plum, red berries. There is a slight hint of oak in the background, vanilla and butterscotch. Quite full on the palate. However with a soft texture. Mellow integrated tannins. There is a slight hint of herbal spiciness, some bouquet garni. But ripe herbs, nothing green in terms of the taste. Paired with that sweet plum, red berry fruit. Good freshness, well-integrated oak. Fairly long on the finish. A wine that feels attractive to drink already today. Should have the potential for another six to eight years in a good cellar.
