Château Jean de Bel Air – 2016

Deep inky purple colour. Intense and modern nose with high ripeness, dense dark fruit, roasted new oak and dry spices. The palate is very dense and concentrated with high ripeness, inky dark fruit like blackberry and crème de cassis. Better integration of wood on the palate, still ripe, warm and unctuous with a long sweet finish. Quite impressive and ambitious but needs some time to calm down and gain roundness and harmony.
