Dense dark purple colour. Intense nose, some maturity and complexity with some balsamic notes, leather, walnut, ripe dark fruit, cassis, tobacco, fine oak and floral notes. The palate is dense and structured, high but ripe tannin, layers of crushed dark berries and cassis with tobacco, leather and dark chocolate, and a long and layered finish, still youthful but seriously structured.
