France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a medium toward deep ruby-red colour, slightly rusty towards the rim. Quite open and forward aromatically, displaying hints of red berries, plum, some dried spices and a hint of bay leaf and sage. Medium weight on the palate, still with a quite youthful gripe, pronounced tannin. Still probably needing some time to smoothen. Juicy and fresh, red, fruity flavours, with plum, fresh acidity and slight hint of herbal spiciness. Medium toward long finish. Still appearing a bit youthful on the finish, with a slight tannic sensation. Still with some of those leafy, herbal spicy notes.
