Dark red with a purple hue. Fragrant nose offering cabernet franc like spiciness with fine dry spices, bay leaf, sage with cassis and ripe red fruit, a mild hint of oak and toast underneath. Good density on the palate, ripe and unctuous fruit with grainy tannin, good layers, a refreshing herbaceous spiciness and long layered finish. Ambitious and well made.
