Dark colour with a purple hue. Youthful nose offering freshly crushed berries, tobacco, pepper and mild oak notes. Quite full palate with a restrained youthful texture, nice dark fruit notes, fine oak, and a rather long finish. Nicely done, just a bit on the firm tannic side needing time to open.
